Crane Winery

The Crane Winery is a family owned and operated winery, best known for its high quality and award-winning variety of fruit and grape wines.  Located in the scenic Villages of Van Buren town of Selma, Iowa. Best known for the wines that “grandpa used to make”. As a tribute, we have named many of our wines after popular or historical sites well known by our locals and now featured on our new labels. While visiting be sure to look at all the graduating pictures of Selma High School from 1922 to 1960, oh how times have changed!

Visit our Tasting Room, try your favorite wines, and many years of history on the walls of our little country haven.

The winery building was originally built in 1876 as the Odd Fellows Lodge, later on, to hold many other things throughout the century. Now holding our winery. The winery was established in 2007 by Gerri, Thad, and Laura Crane.
